Ciro Pizza Cafe was established in 1997 by Ciro Pappalardo and his financing partner and brother-in-law, John Piscopo. Ciro has worked in restaurants since immigrating from Naples, Italy in 1962. John, a third-generation Staten Islander, left a 16-year Wall Street career to operate Ciro's full time.
Ciro's brothers established Joe & Pat's Pizzeria — one of Staten Island's most renowned pizzerias. That same respect for the finest, freshest ingredients is what built a loyal following here on Huguenot Ave.
